Let your voice be heard by writing a letter to your the Premier and your local MLA calling on the government to add “gender identity” and “gender expression” as protected categories in the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code. This website should provide everything you need to write up your own letter and send it off to Premier Brad Wall, Justice Minister Gordon Wyant, your local MLA, GESS and the Human Rights Opposition Critic David Forbes.

GESS Announces the Time4Rights Campaign, and Calls on the Public for Support

The Gender Equality Society of Saskatchewan announces a new campaign calling upon the public to support amendments to human rights legislation to include “gender identity,” and “gender expression.” This would ensure two-spirit, transsexual, transgender, and genderqueer individuals would have clear and explicit protection under the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, catching up to other provinces in Canada.
